School Meals

Our school meals are provided by Chartwells and are cooked on the premises.

Special care is taken in the preparation of the menus to provide a nutritious balanced meal which includes fresh vegetables, fruit and freshly baked bread.

There is a choice of a main meal, jacket potato and vegetarian option.

Menus and order forms are sent out every half term and the cost is £2.25 per day and cheques should be made payable to Compass Group.

Orders must be received with correct payment in school by 9 am Tuesdays for the following week. Any forms received without payment will be returned to parents and meals will not be ordered. Please ensure that you do not order meals for Inset days, holidays or when classes  are going on an educational visit.

Sickness - Parents need to call the Chartwells Customer Care line on 01908 615705 before 9am everyday of the child's sickness. A credit note is given from the second day onwards.

School trips and cancellations - 48 hours notice before 9am prior to the event - Parents need to call the Chartwells Customer Care Line 01908 615705 in order for the meal to be cancelled and a credit note given.

Are you eligible for free school meals?

A Citizen Portal is available to help you find out if your child qualifies for free school meals.

The system is quick and simple to use and can be accessed via a smartphone or hand held device. If you qualify, you will receive a reference number that you simply bring in and show us at school to start receiving meals. Please register at ttps://

Please visit to sign up, even if your child is in year R, 1 or 2 and receiving universal free school meals, or if you have applied before and do not think you are eligible.

In doing so you will help us to find out whether we can claim pupil premium for your child. This is additional funding to spend on resources such as extra staff, books or school trips for eligible children.
